    To gain a better understanding
    of the needs of the communities in which the Group operates; to channel interventions appropriately to improve social and living conditions; contribute towards healthier societies; establish new and strengthen existing partnerships with communities and forge partnerships with organisations that share common objectives to increase the impact on community development.


  • HOW DO OUR OPERATIONS AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES

    Various programmes including
    ‘Water for Life’ project providing water to drought stricken areas; funded surgeries organised by the SMILE Foundation; support anti-substance abuse initiative in Tembisa; hospital refurbishment through SAME Foundation for the Leratong Hospital; the Minister of Health’s Safer Traditional Initiation Campaign and through the ‘Women in Leadership’ initiative.
